I purchased Office 2010 for military members. I downloaded and installed and entered the product key, and everything was fine.
I can open and use any part of the office suite, and open files I have through the file/open/ selection, but when I try to just double click on a document or powerpoint I get a window opening saying the office product necessary to open this file is not installed, and the option to buy a product key(again!), purchase 2010(again!) or use Office Starter. I don't understand why it works one way, but not the other, and is extremely inconvenient.
Anyone got any suggestions?
