Do I recall reading somewhere that there is a problem with Spybot Teatimer

and Vista?

I haven't had an issue with it at all. But, it can get annoying, and for

some (novice) users, frustrating and confusing.

yes some people including myself had a problem with spybot totally in vista.

I wound up uninstalling the program

works fine on my xp computer but not vista

Some people(1-2) have reported some probs here, but they have never said what

version of Spybot S&D they were using!

I have absolutely no probs with it at all.

I was using the latest version and had no problems before SP1, but after SP1

I had to run Spybot as admin to change any settings such as turn Tea Timer on

or off. I had the same problem with Quick Books, the UAC wouldn't let me

change any settings without shuting down the software and running it as

Admin. I wound up uninstalling Vista, because it has become more trouble than

its worth.
