I have one on mine, not sure of the name.. But it sticks out the front like a hard **** and looks kinda retarded..Is there another way to mount it?

You can see it in the pic...

You can try to turn the bars all the way to the left, then push the stabilizer rod all the way into the shock body and adjust the collar as far as it goes without the shaft hitting the stem. Lock it down and try to turn the bars fully both ways. As long as the shaft doesn't hit the stem, you'll be ok. Looks to me like it may be out of adjustment a bit because it does look like it sticks out more than normal.

I bought the stick type because it was cheap($109.00) and I wanted to see if it helped with arm fatigue and stability. So far so good. Eventually I will get a different one, but for now it works.

Motowoz has a new stabilizer coming out. I haven't heard what the price will be, but if they are as good as their shocks they will be awesome!

Most frames that are gussetted need the front gussets trimed for a puck style to fit. My Baer needed cut for the precision on the XC quad.
