Denver linebacker Von Miller, the Most Valuable Player in the Broncos' Super Bowl 50 triumph last February, insisted Thursday that he will not play next season without a new contract. The 27-year-old Texan is unhappy the Broncos have placed the franchise player tag on him three months ago but the sides have been unable to negotiate a long-term deal. The franchise tag would bring Miller $14.129 million for playing the 2016 campaign with Denver, a notion he dismissed in an Instagram posting.
