Guest SFSDJoseph
Prepping my Windows 7 base image, I am setting up the Administrator account with different customization's than I want for the Default profile. I want my Default profile to have customizations for regular end users and the Administrator account to have customizations for Admin users (i.e. Administrator wallpaper, server shortcuts, etc...). Therefore, I don't want to use the CopyProfile setting in my Unattend.xml since the Administrator account is special. I plan to make a pre-sysprep user account, customize it with end user settings, and apply that manually to the Default profile. Once I sysprep the machine, the Administrator profile will be deleted. Since I have the Administrator profile setup specially, I want to prevent that. I don't want my end user default profile applied to my Administrator account. Is there anyway to prevent the Administrator profile being deleted in sysprep? Then when I log as Administrator after sysprep, the profile is the same as when I customized it before sysprep. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Continue reading...
