I keep an open mind, and this band violated the sancitity of that. Its just more trashy punkish screaming emo 'rock'. The singing is terrible, the whole sound of the group is watered down, and they play kickball...

I agree. I've come to like them over the past few months. Thier new single 'Pieces' is awesome. I love it.

Naw, there's plenty of good stuff in punk, maybe you guys are just looking in the wrong places (*cof*MTV*cof*) lol jk, but yeah, maybe you should look and listen to some more stuff. Who knows, maybe you'll find stuff you like. Taking Back Sunday is not that great in my opinion, I like some of their songs, but then after a while they just end up sounding the same :\ I can't listen to a whole cd at once lol

I may be biased about the whole punk issue, because I really like punk (lots of kinds... from Clash to Sum41 to Pennywise to Rancid... to lots of other bands lol), but I know everyone's entitled to their own opinion :thumbsup:
