A sub-par Turkey edged Senegal 68-62 to grab the last semi-final ticket of an Olympic basketball qualifying tournament in Manila on Thursday, keeping the highly-rated team's Rio Games dreams alive. The world's eight-ranked team grabbed only their first win of the tournament with the help of a previously untested twin-tower setup featuring NBA big man Omer Asik and fellow centre Semih Erden. "I'm sorry for all the people who watched this game but we played terrible," Turkish coach Ergin Ataman told reporters.
