MILFORD, N.H. -- An 8-year-old Milford girl who fell into the path of a snow

blower last month has died.

Officials said Jaiden Tlapa slipped off her porch and into the path of the

snow blower on Dec. 20 and was pulled into the machine. Her mother, Holleigh

Tlapa, said the girl was without oxygen during the accident, which caused a

severe brain injury.

A message on a blog the family set up to keep the community informed of

Jaiden's condition said she died Monday morning at Children's Hospital in

Boston.
