Uh, okay... well guys, sorry for the tardiness of my reply. Got busy Simming *laughs* and nearly fell alseep trying to d/l more of the Live 8 vids (cause we here in Australia didn't get to see squat of the concert, which blows big time) but I've taken the day off from painting to be here with y'all, my wonderful fellow friends and congregational flock *chuckles again*

I'm amused that the two positions we have more than one of is Janitor and now probably security, does that tell you something? *raises eyebrow* Protect the drool, protect the drool! Uh... that's just weird... sorry, it's 7:34am here, still officially half asleep. *grins* Rob would be proud, according to his spiel on the FP DVD he and Brad (in particular) like to sleep all the time, so... that's taking Idol worship to yet another all-time unrefined low... but, it's all good.

Well, first and foremost, as there were so many applicants for the position, I'm still considering applicants for security. I probably really should discuss it with my 2IC first, but am inclined to think that for all intents and purposes our security team can be as big as it wants, but as for head of security I'm looking for someone who's status in this place holds even more rank than mine; a green or yellow member, that way it's like real security, see? Maybe I'm taking it too literally, but after the tiny furore we had earlier defending our thread to Chris (and probably countless unspoken others), I'm thinking if we had someone with more sway here they'd be less inclined to bother us and let us drool, rant and carry on our usually obsessed way. Anyone agree/disagree?
Anyway. Next issue; Motto. I haven't thought too hard about it because again I never really anticipated such a following *grins appreciatively* and I'd just stuck with the "It's all good" because it was something I heard Rob repeat a few times in his LPU Video Diary during Projekt Revolution, that's all (Where I got my Avatar pic from, coincidentally). I honestly have no idea what the motto could be but again I'm open to suggestions. Rob's so quiet really he doesn't have much of a catch-phrase that we can quote as far as I'm aware beyond that, so, y'know, I'm drawing a blank, but I'm sure with all our combined efforts (makes us sound like somekind of Superpower) we can come up with something. I'm trying to appease the masses here which is relatively new to me, I'm so used to drooling by myself in the corner before my (literal) Rob wall of pics (above my comp in my study) that having like 10-20 others around me doing the same thing is a bit surreal! *laughs* I'm not sure how our Lord/Rob would feel n regards to any of this, and frankly rest relatively easy knowing as busy he appears he's not likely to drop by any time soon, so maybe I've managed to stave off litigation for a while longer yet! *laughs* Lets hope so anyhoo.
Yes, Black_Angel, of course you can join! We're only too happy to welcome all new members to the fold. Even if you want to come and drool and not really "do" anything (for amusement purposes, having a 'role' assigned next to your name as a member) that's fine too. We're working through our security personnel at the moment, but I'm about to update the list right after this so see what hasn't been filled or if anything has and it still takes your fancy, let us know and we'll add it on. Not necessary but like I said, keeps us amused intermittently. *grins*

Big thanks for the Rob-plug over at writer's corner too, I only wish I was able to dream (not even semi-erotically) about our beloved Drummer Boy, but alas, seems I have a mental block the size of Idaho (don't know where that one come from, I'm Australian after all!) stopping me. Anyhoo, a bit off subject for a sec, well, same subject but not really RL Rob, I just wanted to share another image of mine (cause, like, I've got one or two laying around *s******s*) that you wouldn't have seen if you'd not seen my journal as of late. I'm a Sims fan from way back (as in The Sims game, or lately, Sims 2) and used to make LP sims yes, even way back when... (pathetic, I know, but at least I'm consistently pathetic, that's got to count for something, rite?) So anyway, here's my Rob Sim I'm currently putting through University (doing his economics degree, it was as close as I could get to accounting, sorry Rob!)
Not exactly a drool-worthy likeness but still amusing none the less. I made a series of Matix, DVS and DCSC clothes for the band to wear (couldn't be Rob-Sim without Matix somewhere, right?) and I also have Chas (complete with most of his tats, except the dragon on his calf, his rings, and his 'new' elbow one, but his back one is pretty up to date as far as I'm aware) and the rest of the band members now in one huge Dorm called, what else, the Linkin Park household. *Shakes head* See what I do with too much time on my hands? Hey, at least I'm not using my powers for evil, like I just as easily could... *laughs menacingly*
Anyway, thought I'd share that with y'all. Thanks for entertaining me, as always. I should go back to RL for a while now and do some washing. *sigh*

My computer deprived friend had a good suggestion. She had said that since CoB is the longest running church on LPF that we should create a special website, for more CoBers who can't or hasn't heard of LPF to join. That way it grows even bigger, but that was her idea. I told her I would have run it with the others.

I told her that before, but running a website is quite frustating. Trust me I tried it before, there were codes, people you don't want to deal with it, so I canned it before it even took off. So, I just stick to LiveJournal, Xanga, and MySpace. It's quick, fast, and easy-easy meaning that layouts and stuff are made for you. And that your not paying for it, unless you have payed account on LiveJournal. Yes, mostly for layouts on my LiveJournal and MySpace I just get premade ones.

I agree with my sis, building a website is not an easy work, especially if you want it to be successful and frequently updated...Personally I have no clue as to how a website is built so I couldn't contribute anyway...But I think things here with the CoB are easier, I like the CoB and I don't see a particular reason why we should replace it with something else...Mystery put it really well; running a website is frustrating... *hugs to all the CoBers* Bless our Bourdie!

All in all, like I told my friend a website is time consuming, and you need time to produce and think out what you want to do. And if you really want to be the big-header of your website you need to know quite a bit.

ok heres to my first time doing a rant. Ravyn, I agree with you on the part of having either an elite or a mod as our security head. I personaly would rather give the job to a mod so they can actualy do something about our problems, then have maybe three to five people under the security to start out with. So about how many members do we have now? drums are going great, on saturday (my sweet 16 woo hoo) I'll be with my brother and his band in the studio and they are gonna let me record a song with them. Their drummer is sick and they are doing a cover for LP's OSC. I'm honored to be able to play the same song as Rob. I heard that he had to use gymnast chalk durring the summer, I have to use it too. It's just so dang hot and humid. Freakin blisters hurt. My brother has me playing for about two hours at a time. plus with having classes on webacademy and obsessing over rob, I go to bed dead tired. lol. I think I scared my brother yesterday with my posts, I'm hoping to reach 1,000 before my birthday on saturday.
JammerG, as for the tee-shirts, I'm trying to figure out how to work the friggen camera so I can take pics and post them. I'm also trying to figure out how to put up the pic I drew of rob in art class on the computer. I cant work the effin camera.
Ravynlee, can you please send me a list of the names of the people that want to be the security and their colors so I can do alittle reasearch on the applicants based on what they do on LPF and such and maybe take a little bit of the "Bourdon" off of you lol. no pun intended.
Oh and for a little tid-bit of info for you guys, I found out the equpiment that rob uses: A black hawk kit, zidijin cymbals, d-trigger pads, vadar sticks and drum heads, and i think that he uses d-in ear modules. But incase im wrong, let me know.
But in any case heres a big bourdon bopper hug to our lord. Its all good. (drool clean up front pew, big mop and bucket. lol) *** He is so fine. I found a really awesome collage of him. im gonna try to upload it to heither here or on the rob pics. I'm not sure where. lol but ill put a vote here, who wants to see the pic here or at the pics place. So yeah lots and lots of drool. Im watching the frat party DVD over and over just to see rob. I started drooling about him. well im out of here. peace out.

CoB Dictionary!
An amusing thought just occured to me whilst chatting with my Robsessing sista - why not start a CoB dictionary? (Nerds rejoice) *lol*
What I'm referring to in particular is the words we use here that we often incorporate His name into. For instance, Hil's gourmet delight and our signature dish here at the CoB - Bourdon bourbons. Or is that bonbons? XD
Anyway, it's a direct result of late night chats everynight where we often impart many pics, vids, facts and drool about our chosen deity. While I won't divulge all of the sordid details (this is a General ages forum so you'll have to use your imagination ) I will say that we often fuse words to make a new one with a Rob-spin. For instance I had previously mentioned a craving I had for chocolate - but instead called it
Robolate. Definition; Rob covered in chocolate - or the PG version, Chocolate fashioned in his image.
The first one is way better I reckon but still... that's my take on it anyway.
Of course we have the well used;
Robsess -ion, -ing - Obsessing about Rob. D'uh. What we are best known for here at the CoB. Well... that and drooling of course!
JoJo had another gem;
Bourdonemia - (Bourdon & anemia) - definition; Getting weak from lack of Rob, the sensation we feel when talking about Rob/looking at his pictures/anything at all Rob-related. Symptoms include dizziness, palpitations, excessive drooling, 'butterflies' in stomach, occasional bouts of turretts syndrome, shaking, giggling, euphoric or elevated moods, idiot grinning, fainting, general weakness, wearing caps backwards, frowning, and trans-like states when hearing the sound of drums.
Anyone have any others??
