Weather officials spent the night issuing numerous tornado watches and warnings across Central Florida. Strong winds toppled trees in the Seminole Woods subdivision near Geneva in Seminole County and numerous accidents along Interstate 4. In Pasco County, part of the Land O' Lakes Jail was damaged and officials said some women inmates were being moved from a section where the roof collapsed. Officials said the roof of one of two minimum-security annex buildings collapsed. The building, which was destroyed, held about 100 female inmates that were evacuated before the storm hit. Some cars were also damaged when they were overturned in a parking lot. Power lines were also downed in the Land O' Lakes area. Volusia County Fire Services also responded to reports of downed trees and power lines in DeLand and DeBary. Stay with WESH 2 News and WESH.com for further details.
