What is your point? The UN stepped in because the north invaded the south, and only because it was the communists. Had it beent he south invading the north, the UN would have helped or at least left it alone. North Korea knows this, and if the UN fucked with them then, they will do it again. The point is, i see why they feel they need to protect themselves, and i see complete justification in them manufacturing nukes. The US and the rest of the world should have no problem with it unless they are planning on fucking with north korea.

Oh and if the were pointed at us.....or anybody else for that matter then we would have a reason to bitch. Some would say that is what the US is trying to prevent, ok how would we like it if britain tried to prevent us from attacking somebody in the future. We would be pissed and pretty much tell them to fuck off. Am i right?

I believe your argument is flawed as it is not for self-defense that North Korea wishes to build Nukes.

They wish to build them, then charge as much as possible from the highest bidder.

That is where the danger lays in wait.

Nobody should have nukes...PERIOD. If you are going to fight a war, leave the deaths of millions of civilians out of this and fight it old style...conventional.

I think that the US telling everybody else who can and cannot have nuclear weapons is fucked up. I mean what makes us any better than them. We tell everybody that it is wrong to have nuclear weapons when we have lots more than everybody else. And this "Washington previously rejected allowing North Korea any nuclear program, saying its decades of pursuing an atomic bomb showed it cannot be trusted." maybe they cant be trusted, but what about all the countries that we approve of having nukes, is it not possible that Isreal could get a bug up its ass one day and blow us to holy hell? Bush is not the president of the world, he does not have the right to tell the world what to do. That is if they were making nukes, i personally think that North Korea is just an Attention Whore, when the whole world was focused on the middle east, NK decided to fire up one of its reactors, most likely just to make the world look. I just dont think it is right that the United States feels it has the right to say the world cant have nukes when we have more than anybody.

The North Koreans sell arms to terrorists (this a known fact) and Kim Jong Il is a psychotic asshole who should not be allowed to have more then a bb gun. As such, the US and her allies are working to insure that terrorists and thier supporters do not have nuclear technology.

We CANNOT allow terrorists or terrorist supporters to get nukes. PLain and simple.

Maybe Mohammed(may piss be upon him) ascended out of the infernal regions and told him. At any rate where there is smoke there is fire. So with that in mind, North Korea will not be able to have an overt nuclear program... same as that shit-hole Iran.
