The New Linkin Park Album Sucks!

Okay, what happens if the new linkin park album sucks balls? What would you guys do? Stop being fans? Give up on them? Just kinda put on a grin and say it was a good but not there best?

It's happened already.

 

Some fans didn't like Reanimation because it wasn't a studio album, only remixes.

Some didn't like Meteora because it didn't sound like Hybrid Theory.

Some didn't like Live in Texas because it was released so close to Meteora and contained no new material.

Some didn't like Collision Course, for many reasons.

 

I'm sure there'll be plenty of people who aren't pleased with the new album, no matter what it sounds like.

I'll listen to the old stuff still. If I'm in the mood at least. I can't say I've listened to them in like the last 6-9 months. I won't have as high views of them as a band if they put out a piece of crap though.

same thing happened with the new From Autumn To Ashes album

im a big fan, but the new album was really really bad

but it didnt stop me for being a fan, i still love FATA

 

personally, i would never stop being a LP fan

Well, I have a lot of confidence in Linkin Park's next album. I didn't like Meteora at first because it didn't sound like Hybrid Theory, but after listening to it a couple more times, I started liking it more. Same with Reanimation, it was boring at first, but then it's cool after you listen to it again and again.

What I'm going to do, is i'm going to find you, and beat your ass.... repeatedly, because you just jinxed them beyond all jinxes.

What do u mean meteora didnt sound like hybird theory? IMHO they sound TOO similar and has Hahn said Meteora was part 2 of Hybrid Theory. Their next album is gonna have a new sound compared to those 2 albums, so if u left because they didnt sound alike (even though they did) then u wont like the next change lol.

 

Reanimation was good one of the better remix albums the songs did sound fresh and those who stopped likeing and artist because they experiment is kind of shallow. I personally hate artists that tread the same ground all the time and never evolving.

I never said that it was my opinion, or any of those opinions were mine... Having been a fan for so long, I've read many posts on various message boards for years. When Meteora was first released, the overwhelming opinion (of the negative ones) was that it sounded nothing like Hybrid Theory. Now, that said, some of the tracks certainly would fit as HT version 2 - Don't Stay, Lying From You, Hit The Floor, etc. There's no way anyone could convince me that tracks like Nobody's Listening and Breaking the Habit would ever fit in that category.

i'd proberbly grow to like it, i didn't think much of meteora but i love it now.

No matter how the new album will sound like.. I will always stay a fan.

don't judge the album, if you didnt listen to it YET.

I don't think it'll suck xD I have faith in them and even if it sucks (Which I'm hoping and crossing my fingers it won't), I'll still be a fan of them. I don't think a bad album can change that lol, as long as I still like their older songs, I'm cool.

Even if its bad Ill still listin to it every once in a while no one can make a completely shitty album there has got to be one good song.

I thought that was one of the worst songs on the album.

i dont know..i wont stop being a fan anymore though.....Hybrid Theory and Meteora both were good so i think this one weill be good too.

Tapts album has a couple good songs but they where basically all at the start of tha album of which i never really thought much of.

anyways, I dont think so..no..they did say that it would be totally different than their usuall music but they are really talented and I'm sure that they wont come up with something..britney spears-ishXD

If I think the new album sucks, then quite simply I won't listen to it. I'll still like the band and listen to HT and Meteora, but I probably won't like them as much if they put out a really bad album.

I don't think the new album is gonna be bad. I think it's gonna be the best LP record ever. Stay positive!!! Lookin forward for the first single.

The singles come out before the ablum right how much before the album?

Singles usualy come out about 2 weeks before the record although Kanye West's - Diamonds From Sierria Leone came out some 6weeks before.
