Really who give a flying f K what the US treasury thinks, china has intentionally under valued thier currency for years, speculation of a 30% under valuation has allowed really cheap chinese **** to come into the global market, thank china for this, wait till they start valuing thier currency at reserve levels and then the US will start to cry about how things from china will cost more, labour in china will not increase, people will not get paid more simply because china does not have the commercial and industrial infrastructure to support a working population of hundreds of millions. (NO country does not even the US).

The chinese economy is nothing short of amazing, controlling all those resources and also with the partnership with Russia and the siberian oil pipe this even more leave the US out of the "loop", I think this is a very big indication that the U.S. weight throwing around is coming to an end.

**** cheney really shoukd have kept his trap shut with regards to the russian president "putin" because hes bee looking for an excuse to increase the Russian miliatary but no one in the russian parliment could support him, now he has the support he needs, you wait 10 years and russia will be another super power, remeber people russia has enourmous reserves, people are poor yes, but the country itself is rich!

it means that the US has no right to say whether china’s currency should be valued at reserve levels (globally) china has exports that would cripple the US economy (and possibly the global economy, with the exception of the EU), the US need to start kisses Chinas *** (trade wise), this is reiterated by the fact that the US treasury did NOT accuse china, they merely pointed out that china should not de value their currency, this is because the US can't afford to have china say "well f k ya then, we don’t want a trade accord with the US treasury pressuring us, we don’t need your currency F K off, well trade EURO"

America won't fall.

I am an American, but I was only born there, my parents are immigrants and I live in Canada. But I feel that America is a great place.

In a general sense, "it's" too big to fall all at once, and even it does "fall" how ever you may put it, it won't be sudden, and it won't be fast, and when it's over, I am sure America will still stand as a Super-Power, as you can only "fall" so much. However, at the rate it's going, it doesn't look too good. I think Americans will elect a president for the People not for so much foreign affairs next. A policy of tid bits of Isolationism woudn't be surprsing in the future.

The fact is the USA is much less socialist than the rest of the western world. That is why we are number one. Trade deficits do not matter. And that was going to be my point. they need our trade. yes they can control a lot of it but without us they fall out too. Russia is hanging on the skirt tails of China and Korea. We might get a big wake up call but we won't crumble. We should've imposed import sanctions on China when they droped there value of money. ***** Libeals once again.
