As of Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at least 3,659 members of the U.S. military

have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an

Associated Press count. The figure includes seven military civilians. At

least 3,000 died as a result of hostile action, according to the military's

numbers.

The AP count is 10 more than the Defense Department's tally, last updated

Thursday at 10 a.m. EDT.

The British military has reported 164 deaths; Italy, 33; Ukraine, 18;

Poland, 21; Bulgaria, 13; Spain, 11; Denmark, seven; El Salvador, five;

Slovakia, four; Latvia, three; Estonia, Netherlands, Thailand, two each; and

Australia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Romania, South Korea, one death each.

The latest deaths reported by the military:

A soldier was killed Wednesday when an explosive detonated near his vehicle

in the vicinity of Basrah.

Two soldiers were killed Tuesday by indirect fire in Hillah.

The latest identifications reported by the military:

Army Sgt. Stephen R. Maddies, 41, Elizabethton, Tenn.; died Tuesday in

Baghdad of wounds from small-arms fire; assigned to the 473rd Counter

Rocket, Artillery and Mortar Platoon, Tennessee Army National Guard,

Columbia, Tenn.

Army Cpl. Jason M. Kessler, 29, Mount Vernon, Wash.; died Monday in

northern Iraq of wounds from a rocket-propelled grenade; assigned to C

Company, 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Lewis, Wash.

So you oppose the US participation in WWI, WWII and Vietnam?

And BTW, those wars were won in less time than this one will be lost.

The count is going up every day.

Wilson, Truman and Johnson.

Harry Truman was president when the bomb fell, and his predecessor

was the democrat FDR.

So, you are not opposed to the fisaco in Iraq? Or is there a KIA level

at which you will declare it to be fiasco? Is it 5,000, 10,000, 33,000?

70% of all armored vehicles are in Iraq. Ther are no reserves left to

engage in another conflict. The admitted cost of the war so far is $450

billion dollars, this does not include such costs as equipment

repair/replacement and other expenses which have been pushed off into

the future. The final total will probably be in excess of One Trillion

dollars.

Just what does it take for you to admit this war has been a fiasco?

But you have the most rediculous answer to date, but World War I!

"snicker" ??

another beavis or butthead ?,

what's really funny, you ignorant hillbilly, is

that you don't even realize,

have not the slightest idea why your argument is as vacuous as your mind

let's see,

by your retarded hillbilly logic :

it's ok to rob banks because it's been done before

it's ok to rape 14 year old girls because it's been done before

it's ok to order a break in at an opposing political party's headquarters

because it's been done before

etc.,etc.,etc.

you're a perfect example of the low intellect, losing, failing, hillbilly

fuckups

who elected the two cocksucking gomers we have in the white house

and you deserve the fucking you're getting but don't recognize due to your

stupidity
