Time for new MP3 Player.

I've had enough of my RCA Lyra. It only holds like 60 songs, and has a horrid interface. You have to click through the songs. I need something that lets me choose my artist, or genre or sort by whatever.

Is an iPod really the best? Anything less expensive?

I found this. Looks really slick. iRiver CXW-2G Clix 2 GB

Yeah 80 gigs would be nice, but I think I only need less than 20. I think 2-4 might even be sufficient. I don't have very many CDs to upload.

Any recommendations?

iAudio is hands-down the most professional mp3 player in the market. I'd recommend the X5. It was rated #1 on Amazon.

iRiver is also a great mp3 company. I have used their iHP-120 back in the day and currently own an H10. Great stuff.

But if you're the average consumer who doesn't care much about sound quality and features, get the iPod. Even the slowest of the retards can operate iPods with ease.

Just get a PSP with a 1GB+ Mem stick. Its worth it. And aslo, I have like 150+ songs, and that is taking up less than half a GB, thatnks to SonicStage, which lets you compress songs with lossless quality. Plus the Memory card is like 40 or less $

i'd have to go with djwakka on recommending the iAudio players, my dad and i both ordered one each a couple days ago. he got his already, and says it's pretty awesome so far. all of their's that i've looked at online so far have gotten overwhelmingly good reviews, also.

so yeah, i recommend iAudio.

The PSP isn't even worth the material that they made it from.

The iPod is for comformists

I say go with the iRiver or iAudio like Wakka said.

Thanks a lot guys. :)

iRiver and iAudio both seem like really nice players. And they seem to have more features than an iPod...

Haha, beautifully said. ;) My friend has both a PSP and an iPod. I really don't like them. I had to set up his iPod, and basically set up his PSP for him, and I really didn't like them both. I mean, the iPod is okay, but I hate the touch-scroll thing.

I recommend that you take a look at a Sana e270. You may not want to get it cause it does have a touch-scroll, but it's not sensitive like that Ipod.

Sorry, I explained that wrong. Touch-scroll doesn't bother me really, I just hate how you have to go in circles on an iPod. It just annoys me.

Edit:

I really like it. I'm going to concider it. ;)

But it does seem to have the same circle scroll touch thing, but oh well, I can live with that.

Guess I'm the only one who likes my iPod. It has an easy to use interface, a sleek and stylish finish, and sounds just fine despite what some people say. And I haven't had any trouble with mine since I got it a year and a half ago. That's my recommendation.

I was one of the first at my school to get an iPod mini (2004) and jesus, I love it. I still use it every day. It's 4 gigs, I've had no problems or anything with it. I had the battery replaced once, cause Apple's products' batteries run out eventually. Other than that, it's greeeeeat.

Get an iPod :O

I say wait for the microsoft mp3 player, soon they will probably grab a big chunk of the market as ur able to share songs wirelessly. Go for anything by creative if u want one now as they have by far the best sound quality or the Sony MP3 players they have amazing battery life, reliability and again great sound qaulity.

...mp3 players are the mark of the forth coming of satan

aka stick to cd players lol
I would stick with a CD player, but I've got 53 CDs and its getting ridiculious trying to carry those everywhere, plus my CD player and headphones. LOL

Yeah, everyones already putting it down just because it's Microsoft coming into the mp3 industry. But that thing looks sick.

i'm not saying creative doesn't make good stuff, or sony, i'm sure their mp3 players are good. i just have had experience with iAudio players, and they're the ****.
