After experiencing multiple random error messages, I rebooted my computer and ran a full scan in safe mode with Microsoft Security Essentials, (10) Trojan Viruses were detected and the above referenced files were allowed. They still show up in the history as being "Allowed" after the following procedures. I downloaded Microsoft Security scan, ran a full scan which ran for 5 hours:12 minutes! No virus detected. Downloaded Microsoft Malicious Software removal tool, no viruses detected. Rebooted the computer and ran MS Security Essentials and it discovered no new viruses although history still shows teh above files as "Allowed" not "Removed" which is how my settings are to deal with any malicious software. What must I do now to make sure these files are removed to avoid further issues?????
