News Posted September 12, 2015 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Since a grand jury returned an indictment in May to bring those charges against Xiaoxing Xi, federal prosecutors have obtained additional information, they said in papers filed in federal court in Philadelphia. "The government submits that it is in the interests of justice to dismiss the indictment without prejudice in order to pursue this additional information," U.S. Attorney David Memeger and an assistant stated in the motion, which gave no further details on the nature of the information. Xi, an American citizen born in China who is a professor of physics at Temple University, was arrested in May following his indictment. Continue reading...
