Glad you posted this link. UFO's in artwork and the Bible used to deeply interest me until I came across this Italian website a few years ago. Explains a lot of things (like the red "saucer" in a particular fresco as actually being a papal hat of a monk/bishop doing penance at the foot of the cross). It is primarily in Italian but there are English translations of the pages as well (There are several different sections so the below link begins with section one):

he may be referring to the fact that they are of three legged long necked things with strange hand-like apendeges, tails and claws.....

What are "books"? The internet is the only source of information the world will ever need again, PG. Ever.

And why don't we talk about something somebody could actually make a case for...like UFOs in the bible. Such as when Elija was being carried away by the "firey chariot". Chariot was used to describe any conveyance that wasn't a beast of burden or feet. And he was carried up to "the heavens", which, in King James, "heavens" was used to describe the clouds...basically the direction "up". So, maybe.
