Ugandan LRA rebel commander transferred to ICC custody: source

Captured Lord's Resistance Army commander Dominic Ongwen was on Saturday handed over to authorities in the Central African Republic for transfer to the International Criminal Court, a source said. The rebel leader arrived in CAR's capital Bangui from Uganda and will be sent to The Hague for trial on charges stemming from his years with the LRA, which is accused of slaughtering over 100,000 people during a bloody rebellion.
