Unable to install iTunes

I had to uninstall iTunes and when trying to re-install it I get the message "Problem with Windows installer package. A program run as part of the seup did not finish as expected". I've run the Microsoft Fixit Center which corrected some problems, also have cleared my Temp file. iTunes still will not install...gives the same error message. Any suggestions?
