Update for Works 9 (KB2680317)

My system has tried 68 times since April 11th to install this Security Update for Microsoft Works 9 (KB2680317) and it has failed every time. I get the unknown error 646 and can't find how to fix it. If my system won't accept this update, how do I get rid of it so my system doesn't try every day to install it ?
