Yet another global auto maker has run afoul of US environmental standards, as the government on Thursday charged Fiat Chrysler with having hidden software on diesel trucks which then spewed excess emissions. Fiat Chrysler (FCA) chief Sergio Marchionne said there was no intent to defraud or evade the rules, but acknowledged that the company's disclosure could have been better.
