US Soldier and Puppy

Ok I'm about 2 days slower than the rest of youtube, but I got online today and just started to watch some movies. One thing leads to another and I see a link to 'US Soldier Throws Puppy off a Clif' ok at first im like "Yeahhh right stupid clips". Ok I was wrong.

Ive had to watch this several times. Yes apparently its real. Its been on the news and everything. Its sick if you ask me. I mean he picks up this little puppy, and chucks him off a cliff. OK NOW, dude I know your mr. hotshot marine but jesus. You know what he needs to be thrown off a cliff.

I dont know many things that made my heart sink more than that. Must be that im an animal lover to the max, espcially dogs. Man! :'(

Hmm I dont know but CNN had a kinda story about it, apparently theres more videos the same guys recorded, torturing puppies, kittens, and I thought I heard civiallians in front of thier families..ok seriously now.

i decided to watch it and i'm sickend. just to think we give those idiots guns!!!!

@ Um0, one of the things is animals can't defend themselve (I'm not saying humans can all the time)

But it's one out of many reasons why it is worse in my opinion

how can a person defend itself if they're asleep in bed and the city gets bombed? or if a soldier barges in and executes them and their defenseless weaponless family?

It's not just a random YouTube video, it's got a huge story and backing behind it, unlike most of the vids in the thread in LPF Games or whatever. So really this isn't posting you tube videos it's posting more of a story, larger then just throwing it in LPF Games, where it would get NO attention

Well, thats not single handedly one of the dumbest things I've read in a while.

 

Anyways, yea it is pretty sick to throw a poor defenseless animal off a cliff like that. I could understand if the animal was dieing or had a disease and you were ending its life so that it wouldn't have to suffer, but if the animal is in good health just leave it alone. HOWEVER, while I think the guy should be punished I don't think we should be so hard on the soldiers. They become desensitized to violence when they are in a war. You have to figure these kinds of cruel acts are merely stemming from the stress of killing men on a daily basis. The value of the human life shrinks for them, so it's only inevitable that an animals life would shrink as well. I am not backing them up, I'm just saying I'm sure if they were back home they wouldn't act in that way.

I´m saying that if someone kills a cat I don´t know, I would chop his balls of because it makes me so damn mad.

Ofcourse it gets me mad too if someone kills a person I don´t know, but nothing can make me more mad than hurting someone I love or hurting an animal

How many human beings have you killed lately? How many atrocities have you witnessed? Yea exactly. I know for a FACT that what I said is right. It's been proven. Vietnam (case in point) thousands of soldiers came back disturbed and aloof from society. They didn't start out crazy, but the war...killing people changed them and their emotions. Chances are pretty damn high that in normal society if they never went to war, that this kind of behavior would have never happened.

I'm sure there a millions of people in this world who love animals, but to say that the death of an animal to you is more tragic than the death of a human is insane. Which means in the essence of your argument that you'd rather see 100 innocent people get killed rather than watch 100 innocent animals die. That's what" In my opinion it's worse if you kill an animal than a human" means. Those 100 innocent people have potential to grow up and become something in life that could influence a positive revolution and advance society. Those animals. No matter how cute they are, no matter how much you love them will never cure cancer. They will never come up with a way fight aids. The most they will ever do, is hop on your lap and keep you company. Hinting at the fact that you value animal life over human life is fine. It's your opinion. And this little paragraph...that's my opinion.

 

 

And Mark...I'm pretty sure this video is real. And if it's not there a hundreds of videos of soldiers hurting animals. I just saw one of soldiers blowing up a dog with c4. It's cruel no doubt, but I am pretty sure there is an underlying factor.

i do agree with azem that a person dieing is worse than a animal dieing but killing an animal for no reason is in my opinion totally fucked up and i would also cut his balls off.
