VA 300' Dirt Drag Pics

Went to the local 300' dirt drag racing event this past weekend to shoot some pics. Was the first race of the season...and they had a Mobile Dynojet 168 there as well. I wasn't able to race as my bike is waiting patiently on a new clutch basket to arrive in the mail

First up is an 04/05 501cc TRX topped with a Moto-Xperts head. This bike made 64hp on the dyno and it ran VERY well. I'd say Toby and Moto-Xperts knows what he's doing:

Next, here is a friend of mine's 04/05 501cc TRX topped with a DASA epoxy head and fed by an FCR carb...has a lockout too it made 61hp. He's one of faster TRX's there and runs 4.5's:

Here's the green monster banshee. I think it's a 421 cub or something...not really sure, it's probably one of the fastest bikes at our track...might even run sub 4.0's...not sure:

A Banshee with an R6 engine in it. This thing would be a lot faster if he could get it to hook...he just spins all the way down the track:

My cousin's 250R...not sure what all is done to this. It usually runs 4.8 - 5.1:

Some shots of the Mobile Dyno. This dyno used to be owned by Matt @ Precision Motorsports. It's a dynojet 168. Stock TRX450R's read 36hp (04/05) and 39hp (06+) on this dyno:

And last but not least...does anyone remember Chad @ DRG? I saw one of his heads on an 04/05 TRX450R. It had the stock 04/05 carb on it and it was making right at 60hp. Not sure what CC the engine was tho...I would assume that it was at least a 480cc judging by the cylinder...if not a 500+ cc engine:

That looks like so much fun! Thanks for the pics! That 300' stuff is so much fun and it doesn't take much to run. Wish there was a more legit track around here but it's too hot now. Quick times on those tires too. Im thinkin about dropping some paddles to get more spin again cause I don't wanna run a bar on my duner.
