Valkyrie [based on a true story]
Has anyone seen this movie yet? If so, what did you think of it?
I honestly have to give it 8/10. Not for Tom Cruise's performance but the overral movie. I love war movies/documentries especially on the **** Germany homefront. But what I really liked about this film, it made something so complex to understand, so easy. It was well explained.
Now going onto Defiance
I haven't seen it yet but I am hopig to see it when it comes out here in a few months time. Unlike Valkyrie, it's not a high status battle but its set on the German homefront during the **** regime. It's about three brothers smuggling out a group of Jewish people and teach them to defend themselves against the Germans. This stars Daniel Craig as well, not Tom Cruise. I wish it had more of a German kink to the name.
