I have restored my computer three times by now. For some reason windows 7 64bit hangs up for five minutes trying to boot. This is annoying. After I pick a prior restore date, every thing is good, my operating system will boot up in about 30 seconds. Any way I did the restore again today. I was thinking it was a microsoft update download that was causing the problem. But as soon as I retored my computer and it started right up, I noticed that Security essential Icon was reddish, so I brought up the control menu and clicked the update box. After the new virus definition download completed and the castel turned green again. I thought I was done turned off the computer. Then I realized I needed to do something else on the computer. So I booted up again only to have to wait five minutes to complete its boot up. What am I to do. Help!
