W7 on SSD problems lead to total system failure

Hi
I built a new system (Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 rev 1.2, AMD FX6100, Saphire HD 6870, 8GB Corsaire 1800 memory, HDD Seagate Barraacuda Green 2TB, SSD OCZ Agility 3 120 GB) - Agility 3 120 GB for the system and 2TB Seagate for everything else.

Installed OS on a SSD fine, only I did not format it (somehow there was no such option or I missed it). Ran all windows updates, 5-6 restarts, all fine.

Then after browser installation all just froze so I had to reset the system, after which it came with a Boot Disc Failure, insert CD.

I switched off the PC and checked all the cables (replaced SATA cable and put it into different slot).

After power on everything worked again so I thought it must have been a dodgy cable.

Then it happened again, system freezes, and Boot Disc Failure after restart.

Changed cables again and it worked again, till next time, after which nothing helped, now neither Windows or BIOS or OCZ Toolbox see SSD.

Installed OS on a HDD, updated BIOS and all drivers (MB, chipset, SATA etc), disk is still invisable.

It powers up OK and I can see green and red lamps inside.

Done tons of tweaking and updates advised on OCZ forum, finally got SSD visible on Device Manager.
