(Reuters) - American Jimmy Walker took advantage of greatly improved weather conditions at his home tournament to seize an early one-shot lead in the second round of the Texas Open in sunny San Antonio on Friday. The 36-year-old fired a sparkling five-under-par 67 on a challenging layout at the TPC San Antonio with three consecutive birdies in his last four holes. Walker, who clinched his fourth PGA Tour victory at the Sony Open in January, picked up shots at the sixth, seventh and eighth before ending his round with a comfortable par at the ninth to post a six-under total of 138. Australian Aaron Baddeley (71) and American Charley Hoffman (72) were tied at five under, a stroke better than world number six Jordan Spieth (69) and fellow American Kevin Na (68).
