Guest SBAdmin
In a nutshell, we can access a Web site with IE9 running on Vista, but not IE9 running on a Windows 7. The Web site is a government Web site critical to our operation. We recently switched to Windows 7 but found out that we cannot access this site with IE9. There is no chance the government is going to provide help or fixes :-). - The site can be accessed with IE8 on Windows 7 but not IE9 - I have cleared the browser cache and reset the browser - I have ruled out the main firewall - I have ruled out the local security software by turning it off (ESET) - I have rules out Windows group policy settings (by creating a fresh install that is not part of our Windows domain) Why is it that IE9 works for a Web site on Vista but not Win 7? Does anyone have any clues regarding changes I could make in Win 7 to make it "look like Vista" to the browser (without downgrading security)? Help is much appreciated. Continue reading...
