What Is Everyone Expecting Out Of The New Album?

wat do u reckon the next album will be like?

i reckon it will have like a more mature, emotional theme to it lol, with heaps of new, creative stuff from all the band members, i reckon alot of the lyrics will be really deep, and i even think there may be a few instrumental tracks on the album.

 

what do you guyz expect?

I'm expecting it to have the same sort of sound as Meteora, but, as you say, perhaps just a little matured. I honestly don't mind how they sound as long as they are still Linkin Park. As they say on Frat Party (I don't remember who says it) you'd want to listen to a song and say "I know that sound, that's Linkin Park."

phoenix said that!!! hehe...watch it too much , anyway...like uwantme2b said...matured. but then again...maybe some more of the hybrid theory rock...like heavier. and i think the hip hop is gonna come out more...or not, since mike put all his hip hop energy in fort minor...this is confusing

it will definentaly be alot more mature with all thats happening in the world and all. knowing the LP guys, it'll be something good and we'll definentaly know it when we hear it. I bet that some of the rock is going to be alot harder, If its the same LP wich i know it is then the guitar rifts are going to be hard and fast.

since i saw them at live8 i had the impression that they were all very tired so i guess they are working,and working and working 4 the new album

i'm very curiouse how the new album will sound like,but i'm sure it will be as good and mature as every album lp did..

Meh, I'm expecting 12 new, and completely different songs that have been been blended more subtly than Meteora.

What I mean is there is no distinct line between the rap and rock parts.

i dont think about it. the guyz of LP will make it good.

around the end of this year or the beginig of 2006...probably spring 2006

they havent' set a date, but i'm hoping for Fall, ummm.... i expect it to be good, really good, they've had enough time to freakin work on it!!!! lol i'd rather have quality then something slap together, so w/e

I bet it's more like BTH, softer, mellower, while at the same time has a lot of Mike's good rapping like in Dedicated and Step Up. Those type of songs

That would be good, but it would be best if not every song was like that. BTH isn't really hard rock like a louder song, say Faint. I think a good idea would be to combine the two. BTH was fresh and original, but a whole CD of songs in that style, would start to sound a little less like the LP we know in my opinion.

and to tell the truth i didn't think BTH was as great as everyone thinks...

Yup as everybody said, hopefully they will be back with a lot more maturer songs, and perhaps deeper lyrics. I don't know, but we're all having high hopes ^.^ I bet it's good though, and probably something we've never heard before. I also hope they experiment with new sounds and music. Bleh, I don't know, we'll all have to wait and see!

I have feeling that lp will probably listen to the critics after meteora was often refured to as hybrid theory pt 2

 

When i say that i mean they may offer a somewhat different sound and have more variety, im seein more tracks like Nobodys listening and BTH breakin out and some other styles as well as there older style. If this is the case you may also see a longer album at around 15 tracks.

yup, me too. God, I love Chesters voice. In some songs he sounds so seductive and sexy and in other sounds he sounds so sweet and...........well I JUST LOVE HIS VOICE. definetly the best SINGER IN THE WORLD.

There is no exact date for either album as of now.
