What is this and why is it affecting my computer's performance - client_manifest.txt

My internet explorer closes every time I close a page I am viewing even when others are still open. I get an error message when I try to access "iTunes" that says it has been moved or changed and the shortcut doesn't work. I have run Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Disk Cleanup, and Disk Defragmenter. Nothing shows up and it continues to do this. When I checked Problems Reports and Solutions, there were many cases of Internet Explorer being closed and several problems with this file

client_manifest.txt.

Anything anyone can do to help would be greatly appreciated!!!
