Whats it worth?

I have a guy wanting to trade me a 99 400ex for my 86 chevy truck i have for sale. What are these bikes worth and is there anything i should watch out for? Not sure if im going to trade or not need the money more then another bike

Not sure what it's worth around there, and you're right, the pics not the greatest, but around here a REAL nice 400ex of that era will bring $1500 to $1750 with the newer ones bringing more and the ones that need work bringing less. Like $800-1200 depending on what they need.

run it and see if it fogs blue smoke. if it does it needs to be re ringed and not worth as much. not much can go wrong with a good ol 400ex

all cleaned up you could shoot for 1500.00. i had a 400ex for the longest time talk about easy to work on!!!
