So I have had this machine for over a year and for a while now I have been having a problem with downloading any security updates. When I attempt to download an error always pops up before completion. I changed from MSE to avast to see if they would pick anything up. It said everything was clean, but when I tried to reinstall MSE it gave me the error code 643. The newest one says that I do not have the correct admin rights. I am trying to find out what will it take to get a scan of the entire system to include the start up area. If this porblem is fimiliar with any others please point me in the right diection so that I can read up on it.
