Guest V
On another forum they discussed Hillary's or another democrats agenda of banning guns. turboman writes: "If the unimaginable happens and the she/he gets back in the Whitehouse and they have control of Congress and the Senate it's possible that personal firearms could be outlawed. Confiscation could be required of everything except shotguns.Witness UK, CA, and AU. With the number of firearms in our country and their being as ingrown into our history and culture, I can't imagine the logistics of doing this. Police could never handle it. The Army would have to be used. There's a pretty good chance the Army would revolt. Would we be compensated for the dollar loss for our guns? Would warrantless break-door-down searches be passed? What if there had been a major terrorist incident and if martial law were invoked? New Orleans? Does anyone reading this live in Canada? How did the Government pull it off? Where owners sent a notice to "turn in" your guns? Where certain people exempted? What if owners refused? Thanks to previous registration requirements they would know who had the guns. What if the handgun registered 5 years ago had been sold? Get arrested? (jails could never handle millions of offenders). I think there are enough gun owners that a national revolt could occur and there wouldn't be enough military to stop it.. There could even be an overthrow of the Government. The destruction of America could occur. Much of our economy would be destroyed. Millions would lose their means of livelihood. The possibilities are mind boggling." V writes: My survival mentor says to prepare for the unthinkable one must first think the unthinkable. I think Hillary would like to work in that area. Voter her in if you would like to ban guns. When they come fro your guns..they might as well be coming to cut off your balls. Guns are a populations last line of defense. Look at Afghanistan...they beat Russia with guns. And the US is still having trouble with 'the people' there from their guns. "When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains, And the women come out to cut up what remains, Jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains. And go to your Gawd like a soldier" ~ Kipling Let's look at what happens when a country has no guns. Burma was a recent example of what happens. A dictator comes to power with plenty of guns, but when it comes to the populace...they cannot be trusted with guns. Besides, men need guns to occupy their destructive tendencies as hunters and warriors. If they didn't have their guns they would take it out on their wives. Yes, men love their guns. just take a look at this thread to see some real beauties. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=62&t=207412 While guns do cause some deaths - the alternative of no guns would be worse. Guns are the lesser of two evils. It is the same with cars. There were about 3.4 million injuries and 41,611 people killed in auto accidents in 1999 - yes, cars kill, but the alternative is much worse. This quote was attributed to George Washington but other authorities say it is a counterfeit quote. Whomever said it...it is gospel. "Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence. The church, the plow, the prairie wagon, and citizen's firearms are indelibly related. From the moment the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. Every corner of this land knows firearms, and more than 99 99/100 percent of them by their silence indicate they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference; they deserve a place of honor with all that's good. When firearms, go all goes; we need them every hour." Most have not been passed, but have been voted on There Plenty of them,, they just make your guns not legal anymore, same way all gun grabbing countries did, and they make people "not legal" to own them. Let's just use the D.C. law going before the S. Court, for example. DC just made the once legal guns, illegal. (hand guns) There is a list of now illegal guns, this list was even bigger before the so called assault weapon ban expired. They took these guns from legal citizens Their goal is to chip away at the legal guns, until they get them all, and chip away at who can "legally" own one,, Look at England, and what it takes to now own a single shot shot gun or single shot 22 rifle, the only two legal firearms now over there I understand. There are many US cities that have laws against carrying a pistol,, who is legal to, and who is not (thus taking guns from the hands of citizens with no criminal record). To disarm the "honest" American public, they have to do it gradually, they never will disarm the criminals. -- SpecTastic Wiggle Rig, Fishing lure remote control See lure video you won't believe http://ezknot.com/videos.html

What has a AK-47 have to do with this bill ? AN AK-47 is a full auto,, perhaps your thinking of another gun that looks like an AK 47 .. Any hunter who needs 30 rounds in his > magazine needs to turn in his hunting license and grow up. Where does the 2nd Amendment say or protect hunting ? Where does it say we "only" need guns for hunting ? Show me where anyone needs anything but a single shot rifle for "hunting",, that's what I do 90% of my "hunting" with, and this is the same argument used all over the world, as they banned one type of gun after another, that ended up in banning "all" firearms in the hands of honest citizens. Now I own a high capacity rifle,, if I ever end up where people go crazy in mass, like after the Rodney King trial,, I just may need it for self defense . There are millions of these types rifles in the hands of Americans, that are never used to cause harm, these people feel they "need" one enough to buy one, these people and their rifles are no risk to you, or anyone else. and Their "right" to own one, is protected. -- SpecTastic Wiggle Rig, Fishing lure remote control See lure video you won't believe http://ezknot.com/videos.html
Guest Tom Sr.
"When they come fro your guns..they might as well be coming to cut off your balls." Gee, you so ably summed up in your Subject the psychological immaturity of those men who believe their masculinity is directly related to their ownership of guns. You are also so fucked-up, you don't even understand this. -Tom Sr. P.S. Your turn, Patriot Games, you latent homosexual.
