Been looking at them lately nd look pretty sweet, thinking maybe next year will be the time i go from 4 wheels to 2 wheels for cruising around (i'll be 16, motor cycle license) and going off road. Plus the great gas mileage in the summer would help alot. They look fun as ****, lets see what you guys got/have to say about them:shiner:

Haha yeah you kinda did, I'm looking at some husqavarnas thy look pretty sweet. I really like the husqavarna smr450's. Plus my dads really into motorcycles so I think it could work.

Most supermoto's have 17" wheels and the tires aren't as tall, so that drops the dirt bikes down good a few inches if that helps..

Husky's are dead cool.. the V twin Aprilia's are nice too...

If all else fails.. Good old DRZ400 great bikes.. you can use them for dirt too..

honestly my choices are from top to bottom

ktm

crf

husavanna

yamaha

aprilia seems to be a niffy bike. If it was cheaper and more affordable, i'd consider it.

Well id use it for probably both onroad/offroad. How well would a 250 do vs. a 450? If I were to get a Crf or Kawi or something. Also my friend told me that the Crf's need to have there valves messed with a lot. Not sure if it's true is it? He did he thought like every 30 hours.

250's arent that safe on the road because it's a 2 stroke. At least that's what i've been told from an experienced rider. I always liked the 450's because of the power band, it's so wide!

valves always gonna be adjusted at one point or another. IF it has to be adjusted all of the time, something's not right.

Sorry if that's not the best answer i can give. Just speaking from memory :)

When I said 250 I meant a 250 4 stroke like crf250r

KTM is by far the best if you can afford one. and they can be put directly on the road in any state no problem. same as the huskys and the drz. a crf on the other hand can run into problems getting on the road. especially in states such as california and new york.

I've had two KTM's a 300exc snd s 450exc.. Both have been expensive to run.. They are race ready right out the box... Expect to spend race money on the upkeep.. One of the reasons me and a few of my mates ditched them. Aren't they like 11k new too?
