Why can't I change home page in explorer 9

Hi, I'm running Windows 7 up until a couple of days ago I was able to change home page tabs at will. Now it will only display a yahoo tab unable to change or  remove. I've reset to defalt tried a blank page which still comes up yahoo, also  tried a system
recovery to no avail.  Any Ideas?
