Why doesn't MSE have a continue button so the rest of the scan can continue?

The MSE scan gets to about 22 items and stops dead on C:\windows\sysWOW64\aticfx32.dll I removed the aticfx32.dll and reran the MSE , it now stops

dead on C:\windows\sysWOW64\aticalrt.dll . These two pass individual virus scans. Why can't MSE have a continue button so the whole computer can be scanned?

My other Toshiba ( intel pentium ) laptop with MSE can go through 77864 items with no problems. Why doesn't MSE like atic----.dll?

Windows 7 Home Premium , SP1 AMD V140 2.3 Ghz Ram 2Gb 267 Gb HD Toshiba Satellite laptop
