Win7 SP1 some quirky issues

After doing several clean installs, I narrowed down issues to SP1. Issues I have seen:
1. Running both IE 8 or 9, when browsing, my mouse wheel no longer scrolls up and down in browsers. I tried other apps and browsers and it scrolls fine in those.
2. My icons on desktop have been re-aligned in grid setup. Even though I turn off the desktop icon functions (left click desktop and select View), I am no longer able to move icons around on desktop.
3. 75% of time browsing to website, IE crashes with error about disabling addons. All addons either removed or disabled and still same results. Even tried to turn off the Enable protect memory option under IE options, but it's greyed out. I tried switching to admin account and same results. From MS site, found a Fix it tool for addon issues and ran it. Reported no problems to fix. Removed SP1 and error goes away.
4. Noticed issues with system going to sleep after SP1 installed. Still need to investigate this one more. But twice now, system went to sleep and could not wake it back up. Hard to hard boot system. Not seen again since SP1 removed.
