Windows 7 Pro 64, Devices and Printers, freezes apart from green bar at top, never reachs...

Tried the suggestions, ie8 re-reg, have no HP / devices, Nothing displays in the window, and the mouse stays as a circle with colour spinning. Was running win7 beta till it expired (with no problems) and the fresh install of 7 pro has this issue. All my printers & devices work ok, but I can't see them in this window.
