Ran Security Essentials scan on computer. Detected Alureon.H and couldn't remove but it prompted me to download WIndows Defender Beta.
Did so and ran it and it detected same and I clicked clean after the almost 2 hour full scan.
System rebooted and fails to start Windows 7.
Blue screen goes back to fast to read.
Tried option to Launch Startup Recovery but after it grinds about 30 minutes it fails.
Appears cure is worse than the curse.
Any ideas to recover and not loose data and applications.
