Windows Firewall can't be started and Windows Security Center can't be turned on either. I'm running Vista and have installed MS Essentials. Is this a problem? Does it indicate I have spyware or does MS Essentials disable the firewall? I had a Symantec product installed, but removed it before I installed MSE. Can someone guide me in next steps to be sure my PC is protected?
