Windows firewall. inbound connections that do not have an exceptio

I am getting an error message in Windows firewall.

In windows firewall bellow windows firewall is helping to protect your

computer?

inbound connections that do not have an exception - are blocked.

is this the reason I cannot ping my computer from itself or any other

computer?

Can someone help.

Yes. Inbound ping is blocked by default by the firewall.

What are you trying to achieve?

Hi Jesper. Thank you for your reply. I was trying to ping this computer and

others but only getting through on two of the four computers on my network. I

was also getting an error message from the windows firewall. I think it is ok

though. I have installed Microsoft windows live one care. and everything is

ok.
