Guest Kornboy82
With many computers, we have a problem. The exploitation system installed is Windows XP Pro corporate edition and all of the computers are connected to a domain. The installed service pack was SP2. This problem occurs in 51 schools (about 4080 computers total). When a student logs in (with an account with no special rights), he do not have the transitions included in Windows Movie Maker. This is not suposed to happens because Windows Movie Maker is not a program that you must run with administrator rights. When I log in with my account (I have administrator rights), I have all the transitions. I tried to update one of the systems with SP3 and all the latest updates but the problem is still there. This Windows included software is really important because it's required software to learn in classes. Anyone had this problem before and found a solution ? Some people told me that this problem was not present with our new ghost image in SP3. I didn't try it but ghosting 4000 computers and more in different schools is not an easy task and not the simplest way to correct the problem. Thanks a lot. Continue reading...
