silenthill33 Posted October 13, 2007 Share Posted October 13, 2007 Hey all, I am a huge Linkin Park fan, and own almost everything they have put out, but am having a bit of trouble finding a particular version of their NIN cover song. I have the version done at the AM Ring live which is unedited, as well as the that starts off with Mike saying "I don't know if you guys know or not, but you did a really great thing by....", but that one is edited. There is no uncensored version. it was mixed 'edited' and put on the CD. however, the 'edit' of the cursewords was only done by reversing the vocal over that certain part. so you hear like 'kcuf' instead of 'fuck' lol. someone reversed it back, which made the vocal go fine but the background noises go in reverse, so there's no true uncensored version. same thing for standing in the middle. and if you think you have an unedited high voltage (remix), you don't. same for dedicated (I think).
