I completely agree. Children are too precious to be subjected to their irresponsible parent's bull ****. If you can't get your **** together, don't make children pay for it just because you "want to be happy," "but I love him/her," "having a child will make us closer," etc. Kudos.

I would agree for the most part. But I had another child with a different woman because I wanted another child. I LOST my children to a psycho ex-father in law. But I supported them and stayed in their lives. My wife had a child and I wanted another. Is that wrong of me? To want another child before I got to old? I did do the clip, snip and zip after my child was born. But he was well planned. I can support all four. Oh and my house is nothing like the Brady Bunch. More like leave it to Beaver.

When my mother remarried she tried to force me to call my stepfather dad. I never would nor will I ever. I have one father whom I worship. My stepfather and I are close and I care about him, but I resented the **** out of her for trying to force me to call him dad.

I have to agree with CES, its tragic enough when a core family can't work out together, don't compound the problems by moving on to someone else and starting over.

I think some women do this because they are desperate to cement things with this new man...and what better way to tie a man to you then giving him a child.

I am glad I have my daughter but I had wanted more then one child but what would that have done to her, how would she have felt, would she have felt that I loved the second child more because I was with that childs Father?? I just couldn't take that chance. She is the most important thing in my life and I want her to feel that.

I have to disagree. Circumstances change in a persons life. They may love somebody and have a child with them, and then the love will fade and theyll find somebody else. Or perhaps they have a child with somebody they don't love, or thought they loved and actually find somebody they love? A child can adjust well withhalf brothers and sisters, just as much as a family with adopted children. I would know this since I have an older half brother. Who are you to ask somebody to stop loving people?

Well i would say SHE"S A ***** and her kids are ******. Someday she will be a guest on Jerry Springer.

My parents divorced when i was 7 father remarried, mother never did. I am the only kid and dad never had any others because he had me. Step mom knew that going into the marriage, and nothing ever changed that.

I never had kids in my first marriage because i knew we wouldn't last. I had 2 kids in my second marriage, and that's all i want so i am happily fixed. Kids should never be used to try to draw people together, or in cases push people apart. If i ever get divorced i will happily tell the next person i have no need for any more kids, so if that's what she wants move on. But then again i would never get remarried...no reason to.
