Football, soccer, fußball, whatever you like to call it. Just a couple weeks and it begins. Im for Holland but I dont think they'll make it to the finals. Brasil will take the championship this year.

I've always liked the Dutch team, and they might actually go far this year.

They did go pretty far in '98 and '94 if I remember correctly.

I mean they've got Gio, van Bommel, Nistelrooy, Robben, Vennegoor, Kujit, Cocu, and more good players.

I still think Brazil are the most likely, but other good teams are Italy, Argentina, Germany, France, England and a few others possibly. Spain's gonna flop as usual...lol

Brazil is gonna win this thing, I'll be pretty surprised if they don't make the final.

They got 2nd in '74. They lost 2-1 I think against Argentina. **** you Maradonna. Too bad Davids didnt come. He's a good player! Even Dennis Bergkamp (Arsenal) wanted to come if Van Basten asked him.

hmm yeah Davids should maybe have been there, but I think his past his prime

he was at his best with Juve

Dennis shouldn't have retired from international play so early :confused:

A couple days ago I saw his goal against Argentina in 1998 with the commentary (??) from Jack van Gelder. He screamed his lungs out :p

they've got the support of the nation behind them

but having said that, i dont think they'll get very far, just looked at logically

there are too many teams that are a lot better then them :(

i agree with Chris and Fri, i think Brazil will take it out again

England, seeded number 2 and have one of the easiest groups in the world! I think we will at worst get to the Quater Finals and we do have a chance to win it this year =]

Well, Stoichkov didn't succeeded to get our team to the group stage (I mean the Bulgarian team..).. so I'm for Brazil, because Ronaldinho is there.. He is just not-normal :)

We still think we can go far than we finished in '94. Too bad Stoichkov can't score anymore :(
