[World War III]

It depends on how people look at it really.

There's warfare going on in the Middle East and Africa, but that's not considered that big of a deal cause the Western countries don't give a shit about African countries, for instance.

A war is never considered a world war unless Europe and the US are facing direct mass weapon assaults or invasion, or are doing so themselves.

I think this is a different war. "War On Terriom" well technically there are a terrorists all over the world now I mean many terrioism plots have benn foilded all over the world. Thats why I say it is world war for ex.

I think this war will eventually lead up to World War III. My dad and I were talking about this the other day.. The thinks we are definaly in the beginning stages of a World War.

well as far as looking at how world wars have been started, the first one based on pacts and agreements that drug everyone involved in it as the domino theory based on something small that happened because this country sided with that country who sided with this other country who made a pact with another. Then with the 2nd world war you had your egotistical dictator who tried to eradicate an entire race of people.

looking at it like that, lets see, you definentaly have the pacts and agreements in place that caused the first world war and then the evil dictator hell bent on genocide, i'd say if wasnt just the middle east trying to bomb us we'd have the world war. but its so possible

This is nothing compared to that past 2 world wars...we have yet to see anything as tragic as what happened then.

I think it's hard to say wether we're in World War III or not.

I mean, most americans consider WWII to be when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Because that's just how egotistical Americans are. I've studied World War II, and there was plenty of fighting before then. I consider WWII to be when Germany first invaded Poland. That is what started the war.

As for this war, it's probably not even going to escalate into World War 3. It's just media sensationalism. Israel and Palestine were fighting in the Old Testament of the Bible. I mean, shit. They've been fighting forever. It's likely that the media is being payed off by the White House to overpublicize that so that they can take the civilians' minds off of Bush's failure in Iraq.

Well, you know, the whole deal that they sold us on going to Iraq, promising there were terrorists and nukes, but what was really there was a puppet government and oil wells....

Of course it's a big deal, but I mean for example in history teaching in Europe PH is just one of all the events that occurred during WWII...

But then again Europe can't really talk cause the battles fought in Africa (for instance) during WWII don't really get mentioned in history books...and wars don't become world wars unless the big European countries get involved...
