If you don't have a kick a$$ computer I wouldn't read any more of this thread. It'll just set you up for a dissapointment.

World Wind is a free program made by NASA. Satellites are constantly taking high res pictures of the earth. Then they send them to a NASA server. World Wind takes those pictures and connects them into a full map of the world.

Use the mouse to move the map around. Home key to zoom in. End to zoom out. Double click to center.

So has anyone actually used it? Take a picture of your neighborhood and post it. The whole world is right there.

come on! that's a standard pc nowadays !

The red is where the house is, I think o_0 The blue is the road I drive everyday, the green is the post office and the brown is the "Hill" I climb everyday^_^ And that line you see on it is an high powered electrical fence.....I got tied to it one day.....I was wearing steel toe boots and I had over 5lbs of metal in my pockets......Got my goods cooked that day-_-
