Yeah we have a standing joke around here.ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Alaska has the worst highway system in the nation, according to a new report from a California-based research group.
Up here in Alaska we have two seasons, winter and construction.
The Seward highway which runs south from Anchorage to Seward is one of the most dangerous highways with some of the higest death rates in the nation. It runs all the way around the Cook Inlet. The other side of the road is rock that falls on the road all the time and it would be almost impossible to widen it. The ruts in the road are extremely dangerous. They **** near throw you off the road and are treacherous on a motorcycle.
So how does your highways stand up?
