The much-criticised season schedule is also in the crosshairs with plans to split the calendar into "premium" events and "pathway" tournaments and reduce the load on players, Simon told AFP. "To think that we don't need to adjust our format so we can play matches that are 60 to 90 minutes in length as opposed to three hours, I think is very short-sighted," he said in an interview at the Wuhan Open in China.
